The KKR all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said that he is having fun in India after getting left out by KKR Management.

Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has been giving his trade to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. The all-rounder had a fantastic last season, but this season he could play just one match and had to sit out for the rest of the matches.

However, he couldn’t do anything of note in that match as he remained not out on 1 off 1 while he gave away 31 runs in 3 overs with the ball.

This is the very first time when Shakib Al Hasan is being neglected despite being available for playing. On being asked about his feelings, the star all-rounder said that he is on a holidaying in India as well KKR management also told him that this year he need some rest.

According to the reports of, Shakib Al Hasan stated about his participation in this season, “Actually I am on a holiday here, and I am enjoying it thoroughly. I am relaxing… Can there be anything of more fun than this, you say! I am having fun. They (KKR team management) are also saying, ‘This year you need some rest so that you can do well in the Champions Trophy.’”

On being asked how he is seeing the game from outside the field, Shakib was straight forward and seems upset in his reply, saying that it is a very different feeling especially if you are a left-out player; in those situations, things are much different of watching games from outside.

The all-rounder also said that he doesn’t want to express his feelings of left-out as he wants to learn a lot from such situations.

The KKR all-rounder further added, “It’s up to every individual. It depends on how one is looking at the things. It’s quite different from different perspectives. If you are a spectator, you see it one way. If you are a coach, it’s the other. If you are a player, it’s different, and of course, if you are a left-out player, things are much more different. “

Shakib concluded, “Obviously I am having some experience. But I won’t reveal that. Let that be inside me. People who have never been witness to such experience, they can learn a lot from such situations.”
