World no.2 Novac Djokovic confirmed that the tennis great Andre Agassi will be his new coach after he lost in the Italian Open final to Alexander Zverev. The Serb decided to part ways with his entire coaching team earlier this May.

The former World no.1  who is popular to be charismatic and enigmatic , Andre Agassi will be with the 12-time Grand Slam winner in Paris for the French Open which starts in 28th May. Djokovuc said, “Shock Therapy” of splitting ways with the coaching staff including Marian Vajda, who has been with him for almost entire career will help him achiever better results.Boris Becker who has been a 6 time Grand Slam winner left him as his main coach after training him for 3 years.

Agassi retired in 2006 and has won 8 Grand Slam titles will be the man to coach Djokovic for upcoming tournaments. The Serb said, “I spoke to Andre the last couple weeks on the phone and qw decided to get together in Paris. So he’s going to be there. We’ll see what the future brings. We are both excited to work together and see where it takes us.” He continued “We don’t have ant long –term commitment. It’s just us trying to get to know each other in Paris a little bit.”

Agassi does not possess top level coaching experience. Agassi is looking to build a relationship with Agassi just like Boris Becker who guided him to 6 Grand Slam titles in 3 years. Agassi knows what it feels to win each of the grand slams and would definitely help Djokovic in his game. Agassi might be i exclusively involved for Grand Slams if there is any permanent agreement as he has earlier said that he does not want to be away from his Las Vegas home for too long as he is involved in his charitable foundation.
