Real Madrid had to just draw match against Malaga to secure their first title in 5 years but the men from Madrid did not want to settle for a draw and went on to clinch the title in style, courtesy none other than to arguably the best football player on the planet Cristiano Ronaldo. Clinching the first and then the Madrid no.9 Karim Benezema killed not just the game but also hopes of all the Barcelona fans. Real Madrid beat Malaga 2-0 to clinch their first La Liga title in 5 years. The sheer joy of lifting the La Liga trophy could be seen on the eyes of the Madridistas.

Real Madrid fans had already embarked upon the celebration at the fountain of Cibeles even before the team had finished the match at the Rosaleda. The fans inside the stadium too celebrated in style by singing their throats out for their team. Zizou’s men were very confident and very aggressive in their approach and did not allow any late dramas or twists in the tales in tales for the title race.

Barcelona were 2-0 down in their match and at that point even a loss would have sufficed Madrid but then Barcelona came back to change the score-line to 4-2 but it was a empty victory as Madrid won the match and clinched onto the title.

First Madrid goal  started when a loose ball fell to Isco and he looked up and gave an amazing through ball to Cristiano Ronaldo who did nothing wrong and dribbled past the keeper to put the ball in the empty net. It was a very early goal and the clock said 1 min 37 sec. Madrid’s fate were always in their own hands which made things more comfortable. Ronaldo has always been the key man for Madrid and so is Isco in recent weeks and there was no surprise that these two combined to give them an early lead. Sandro Ramirez had different plans and was looking to spoil the party but Navas made 2 amazing saves to keep Madrid in the game. The second goal arrived when Ramos reached a Modric corner and his shot came back off Kameni via Raphael Varane’s chest to Benzema who slotted in from close range.

Madrid will now eye for their successive 3 Champions League in 4 years and create a record that no other team has been able to do, viz,  win consecutive 2 Champions League trophy. If Madrid win the Champions league it would be after 59 years that they will do a European double.
