India swept their game rivals Bangladesh in Friday’s game of Hockey Asia Cup 2017. The Indian Hockey team registered their second consecutive win against Bangladesh with a score of 7-0.
Previously India thrashed Japan in their first encounter by 5-1. In Pool A, world’s 6th ranked India’s total points reached 6 in two matches with their second consecutive win.
The hosts Bangladesh conceived five goals in the first two quarters while another two after the change of ends. With a goal tally of 12 in just two matches, India is looking in a good position to dismantle every opponent in this season of Hockey Asia Cup. They will next play arch-rivals Pakistan in their last pool encounter on Sunday.
This game will be a must watch for every Indian and will be the most highlighted game of this season. Pakistan has played 2 games in this season yet, one against the hosts Bangladesh which they conquered with a score of 7-0 and next against Japan which tied at 2-2.
Seeing this, we can say that India is currently in a good position and much better than Pakistan. But, only tomorrow’s encounter will tell the rest.
Support team India and hope for the best.
