Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro beat Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-2 on Sunday to take home his 20th career ATP title.

ATP’s 19 rank holder, J. del Potro was seen invincible throughout the game and hence overpower the Bulgarian to clinch the title victory in 1hr 25mins.

“I played the best match of the week against Grigor today,” Del Potro said.

“It’s amazing to come back and hold this big trophy. And hopefully, I can come next year as well.”

After the win, Del Potro thereby climbs up to the 14th spot in the race to the end-of-season ATP World Tour Finals in London while Dimitrov sits in fifth place. Last week, Del Potro faced Roger Federer in the Shanghai Masters semi-finals.

Federer then thrashed Potro and later World No.1, Rafal Nadal to conquer the Shanghai Masters. J. del Potro clinched his first title of the season on the indoor court and the 20th of his career.
