The Indian girls’ hockey team was seen complaining about the poor facilities and unsupportive attitude of Indian Govt officials for their visit to Australia during the Pacific School Games.
Later after the video grabbed a million eyeballs, The Sports Authority of India clarified via Twitter that no sanction/approval for travel has been accorded to the team and coach, Pradeep Kumar, who featured in the video.

Harminder who posted the video via her profile captioned it as,
“What a joke it is ..shame on Indian consulate Australia for being unsupportive and harassing Juvenile Indian Girls Hockey team in Adelaide. Very shocked and wonder why no one has come up to facilitates or support.”
This video shows a bunch of Indian girls expressing annoyance over the negligence of the Authorities towards their team. One of the girls even told that their team missed a game and they weren’t provided with any transportation and ultimately they had to manage the traveling on their own.

Later in the evening, The Hockey India clarified the matter by their side with a series of Tweets stating they have not sent any team and the SAI holds no involvement in this matter.

Eventually, the matter resolved when FIA – Forum for Indian Australian (a community group) approached the coach of the girls’ team and he told that they were in Australia for a sports meet of school kids (Pacific School Games).
The Girl’s Hockey team showed in the video comprises of school girls from different schools of India playing matches against Australian school teams.
Moreover, the Hockey India and SAI are not under any fault and need not be blamed for this as such games are facilitated by the School Games Federation Of India (SFGI).
The coach later goes on to say that there was some confusion and the situation is under control now.
