The Indian Hockey Team showed their best in today’s game as they counter every goal from Belgium. Belgium, on the other hand, with a fighting spirit equalized every goal India smashed into their net. It was just the last minute goal from Dilpreet Singh which poured this astonishing victory in India’s pocket.

The Chinglensana Singh led Indian team clinches a glorious victory over Belgium this time and let’s just explain to you how it happened.
Just 4 minutes into the game, Rupinder Pal Singh hinted that India has planned something great for this game. He targets the top-right corner and makes no mistake to give his side a lead of 1-0 against the Olympic Silver Medalist.
Belgium consistently attempted to counter India’s lead and tried to keep some possession in the first quarter. However, the first quarter saw India’s lead with 1 goal. Belgium once again restored possession and equalized after a swift attacking move in the D. The scoreboard saw 1-1 at that moment.
In today’s match, we saw something different, something special and it was India’s effort in stopping the fierce penalty corner from the opponent. The real game began after the 2nd quarter when the slow contest finally observed an enthralling turn.
Belgian Midfielder once again puts his team in a strong position in the third quarter of the game as he put the ball back in the nets in the 37th minute of the game. This time they were successful in converting the PC into a goal. But they couldn’t enjoy the lead for a long time as India’s Rupinder Pal Singh once again nets a PC to equalize the score.

The very next minute as the game proceeded into the fourth quarter Harmanpreet Singh finds the back of the Belgian net with a rebound. With less than 10 minutes left in the game, Indians were pushing to win the game and the chances were sky high as Lalit Upadhyay provided the 4th goal for his side with a deft touch right in time.
Belgium was unwilling to give up and a low shot to the right by Tom Boon pulls one back for them. The score was 4-4, everyone was expecting a draw but little did they know what India forward Dilpreet Singh was about to do just 1 minute before the game ends.
59 minutes into the game, the youngster Dilpreet Singh puts one in the back of the net just in time and the crucial last minute was well defended by the Indian Hockey players. Eventually, India was awarded a well-deserved victory over a strong team of the tournament.
The margin was little but the game, the Indian Hockey Team played was out of the world. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor didn’t stop back in wishing India for this amazing victory as he tweeted,
