Nisar Ahmed, son of Rickshaw puller from Azadpur, Delhi is blessed with a golden opportunity to train at Usain Bolt’s club.

Nisar Ahmed who lives in Delhi slum area is one of the 14 youth selected by the Sports Management company, Anglian Medal Hunt. The young sprinter is all set to leave his slum and start a new journey at the Racers Track Club in Kingston, Jamaica, home of eight-time Olympic gold medalist sprinter Usain Bolt.

14 young athletes are selected from our country to train at the camp in Jamaica and this is certainly going to be a life-changing moment for each of them.

Nisar’s mother, on the other hand, is really happy that her son got such a big opportunity to train at such prestigious club. Moreover, she believes that her son has the caliber to win an Olympic medal for our nation, only if the govt provides adequate support to him.

Excited about the opportunity to train in Bolt’s club, Nisar told ANI, “I am very excited to travel to Jamaica for training. I will learn there and one day will win a medal for the county.My father is a rickshaw puller and he manages to earn just 5000 per month, most of which is spent on my needs”.

Nisar started his athletics career at school, and slowly and steadily he went on to win many national and school championships.

Lately, he broke the national record at Delhi state athletic meet by running 100 meters in 11 seconds, 200 meters in 22.8 seconds.
